2000 Pacific Baseball is a 500 card set released in December, 1999. The base set consists of 450 players and 50 “Variation” cards. Unlike “gimmick” cards of future years, the Variations were printed in about the same quantity as any other base card. A set is considered complete with all 50 Variations.
